Homelessness support
Helping people secure safe, stable accommodation since 2012.
At Exit Foundation, we believe that safe and secure accommodation is the foundation upon which individuals and families can begin to rebuild their lives. Since 2012, we have supported children, young people and adults experiencing homelessness, housing instability or the risk of homelessness to access appropriate accommodation and sustain long-term tenancies.
We understand that homelessness is often far more than simply not having somewhere to live. It is frequently linked to domestic abuse, family breakdown, mental health, offending behaviour, care experience, financial hardship, exploitation, addiction and social isolation. Our role is to work alongside individuals, families and professionals to overcome these barriers and help people move towards stability, independence and a brighter future.

A TRAUMA INFORMED APPROACH
Housing instability can have a significant impact on emotional wellbeing, mental health and family relationships.
Our team works using a trauma-informed, person-centred approach that recognises the experiences many people have faced before approaching our service.
We take time to build trust, understand individual circumstances and empower people to engage confidently with housing services and other professionals.
